Leeds researchers create sustainable hair dye from blackcurrants
The hair dye uses blackcurrant wastage from Ribena.
Dr Richard Blackburn, Associate Professor in the School of Design, along with Professor Chris Rayner from the School of Chemistry have conducted research which has resulted in the creation of an effective new hair dyeing technology.
The hair dye uses blackcurrant wastage from Ribena and is a more sustainable alternative to regular hair dyes found on the market currently. We are delighted that the School of Design has played a key role in this research, many congratulations to Dr Blackburn
