Professor Richard Blackburn wins IFSCC ‘People’s Choice’ Award

Professor Blackburn's presentation on sustainable cosmetics was given the award by the SCS Scientific Programme Committee through a poll of all delegates.

The presentation, titled “Sustainable Cosmetics – are green beauty routines fixing the industry for people and planet or is it clever marketing cashing in on customer perceptions in a climate emergency?” was given by Professor Richard Blackburn during the Society of Cosmetic Scientists’ (SCS) Naturals Conference.

As the winner of the the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) People’s Choice Award, Professor Blackburn has been invited by the IFSCC to present this work again to a wider audience at one of the very popular IFSCC Global Webinars – these events regularly attract many hundreds of attendees from all around the world.
