Profile

Before starting to teach at East Asian Studies, I was at first a student of the Unviersity of Leeds, obtaining a MA in International Journalism and a PhD in Communication Studies. My research expertise is in propaganda studies and and the construction of propaganda discourse in particular. I am also interested in globalisation and its impact on the Asia Pacific, feminism in China and gender dynamics in East Asian societies.
