Profile

I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese at Languages for All (LfA) since 2007. It was formerly called Foreign Language Teaching Unit (FLTU) at the Language Centre, University of Leeds. I am the module leader for Mandarin discovery modules from Ab initio to Upper Intermediate level at LfA. I also teach Mandarin at Leeds Institute of Medical Education at the University of Leeds. Recently, I became the short courses development lead.

Research interests

My reseach interests are foreign language methodology, assessment and second language acquisition.
