She spent her third year at the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, where she had voice lessons with Marie Kobayashi, following tuition from Sarah Estill, Hilary Thomas, Jane Anthony and Martin Pickard. During her time at university she was an active member of the Leeds University Chamber Choir, the Clothworkers Consort of Leeds, the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, and regularly performed as a soloist with the William Mathias Chamber Choir and the Leeds Baroque ensemble.

She made her opera debut in 2011 as Mrs Jaffett in Noye’s Fludde – Britten at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, and has since performed as Venus in Venus & Adonis – Blow, Philidel/Cupid in King Arthur – Purcell (Leeds Baroque), Micaëla in Carmen, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge – Barber (Leeds University Opera Society), the title role in Cendrillon – Viardot (Northern Opera Group), and 1st Owl in the upcoming opera film Hedd Wyn by Stephen McNeff (Welsh National Opera).

Morgana looks forward to returning to Leeds to perform some of her favourite French and German art songs.
