In this Media Futures talk, Sally Ogden will discuss her career progression from studying film at University to moving into the industry. In conversation with Beth Johnson, Sally will reflect on the films that she has produced and directed, and talk through pertinent moments in her journey, discussing how care and professionalism are central to making films that make a difference.

Sally Ogden is a working class, BAFTA nominated and Grierson highly commended TV producer and director at Candour Productions (Leeds). She has produced The Family Secret (Channel 4), The Truth about Muslim Marriage (C4) and is producer/director for Guardian documentary Fighting Shame, Industry voices (online), Dispatches: The Truth About Long Covid (C4). Sally is also an ongoing shooting PD for the BAFTA nominated series Catching a killer and is currently filming a home birth series in Bradford.
