IMDb is the world's most popular source for information on movies, TV shows and celebrities with over 200 million monthly visitors. It’s become known as ‘Hollywood’s bible’ thanks to its searchable database which lists more than 9 million actors and crew members and details over 5 million films and shows they’ve starred in. But how did it all start?

In this Leeds Alumni Voices webinar, IMDb Founder and CEO Col Needham (Computer Science 1988) will share how he transformed his love for films into being an internet pioneer and how the Amazon company IMDb continues to innovate and evolve, powering entertainment data and services worldwide.

Simon Popple, Senior Lecturer in Photography and Digital Culture from the School of Media and Communication, will host the event.
