Register for our online Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics webinar on Wednesday 8 April – Discover how you can gain vital skills to address complex, ethical issues in the medical and healthcare professions.

At this event for practicing healthcare professionals, two IDEA alumni will give brief talks on their research into medical ethics.

Dr Amelia Thompson will be discussing the ban on gender reassignment surgery in adolescents, whilst Dr Emily Lindsay will discuss the different definitions of death and the implications that these have on practices such as organ donation.

Following the short talks, there will be a chance for a discussion of issues related to these topics.

The evening will conclude with some wine and food, and a chance to chat about medical ethics more generally.
