This research theme explores ethical issues that arise from the use of new technology such as AI, big data, social media, and robotics, their impact on work and social life. This includes research on the impact of changing technology and changing social attitudes on relationships of trust, both among individuals and with organisations and institutions, as well as their impact in areas like business, engineering, financial services, and communities more broadly.
