Our research degrees allow you to conduct extended independent research into a subject of your choice. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of your field, and make a meaningful contribution to it in return.

As a research student with us, you’ll be a valued part of this innovative community. There are two ways to join us as a research student. You can study for an MRes, which allows you to undertake research at Masters level, or you can pursue a PhD, which involves more extensive research for a longer period.
