New research published on public responses to COVID-19 official communication
Dr Giles Moss and Nely Konstantinova have collaborated on new research investigating public responses to official communication about COVID-19.
The study by Dr Giles Moss and Nely Konstantinova, Communicating the Pandemic: A Qualitative Analysis of Public Responses to Official Communication about COVID-19, is the second major report produced by the ‘Communicating the Pandemic’ project, led by Stephen Coleman and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
Building on earlier survey research (see The pandemic and its publics: how people receive, interpret and act upon official guidance), the authors conducted a series of focus groups to explore how different groups have responded to official information about the pandemic and how communication might be improved in future.
