Ed D’Souza presents a deep dive into the convergence of art, artificial intelligence, and social engagement. Drawing from his Electronic Life project and collaborations with institutions like Tate Britain and The Alan Turing Institute, he will explore how socially engaged practices and participatory art redefine cultural programming and education. Ed D’Souza is an artist, writer, and Professor of Critical Practice at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, he directs the Social Practices Lab and co-edits the Journal of Visual Art Practice. His work spans international exhibitions and publications, addressing topics such as cultural change, AI, and the biennale format. Recent projects include the year long Electronic Life public programme at Tate Britain, engaging communities through creative AI applications.
