Canon on Campus: free workshops and equipment advice

This Thursday, 29 September, for one day, a ‘Canon Café’ will take over the student common room in the School of Media and Communication.
Drop in to the Canon Café between 10.00 - 15.00 where Canon UK experts will be available to answer your questions over coffee, discuss practice with you, and demonstrate the latest Canon equipment and workflows. They will also be offering unique student discounts and giveaways especially for our students.
Throughout the day there will also be 3 not-to-be-missed lectures on working in the media industry in our cinema room. The first will be for photographers, the second for those interested in careers and employability, and the third for filmmakers:
- 11.00 - 11.30 – Introduction to the EOS R Mirrorless system
- 13.00 - 14.00 – Ian Hippolyte; working within industry, finding your niche, and attracting clients
- 14.30 - 15.00 – Introduction to the Cinema EOS system
