This week's Media Futures features writer Tina Charisma, sharing her career and how to create a story with purpose.

How can telling stories influence change? Magazine and newspaper writer Tina Antwi, known as Tina Charisma, has done just that, through her “Charisma Campaign” - an NGO that uses storytelling skills to advocate sustainable solutions globally, such as #GOECOPERIOD. Today she will be talking about how she uses the power of creating a story with purpose. In this session, you will learn ways of crafting personal stories as well as ones that develop leadership skills and influence change. Tina will also talk about her career as a contributor for Harper’s Bazaar, Global Citizen, Elle Magazine, Vulture, Business Insider, Teen Vogue, Independent, and Vogue Italia amongst several other publications. 

Tina Antwialso known as “Tina Charisma,” is an empowering Speaker, Writer, Consultant, and Culture commentator. She is a communications specialist, holding a master's degree in International Development from University College London (UCL) and a degree in International Relations and Sociology. She lectures and speaks at events internationally, delivering sessions to top FTE 100 companies, supporting their communications engagement, diversity, organisation culture, team-building, and empowerment sessions.
