His talk includes ‘must know’ tips and essential advice for media job hunting, including finding contacts, what to write in your introductory emails, how to ensure your CV punches through, and job interview techniques. He also talks through how to excel in entry level roles and avoid ending up in career dead ends.  

Julian is an award winning TV director and series producer. He’s travelled the world making shows for BBC 1, ITV, Channel 4, Five, Animal Planet, Sky, Nat Geographic and Discovery. He’s produced over forty shows for Network TV including ‘Crash Scene Investigators’ for ITV, ‘Missing Mums: Lorraine Kelly Investigates’ for Sky, ‘The Sheriffs Are Coming’ ‘Real Lives Reunited’ and Caught Red Handed’ for BBC1, ‘Click for Murder’ for Netflix and "The Mega Council Estate Next Door' for Five.
