Memories of Meanwood is a response to the history of Pyramid of Arts, created by second year fine art student Elsa Guidon and Pyramid members.
Memories of Meanwood is an installation of work in response to the rich and expansive history of Pyramid of Arts during their time present at the Meanwood Old Hospital and the creative projects conducted there.
This is merged with the work of Elsa Guidon, whose practice focuses on the importance of documenting history and presenting it in tangible, accessible ways, whilst also manifesting the objects of history in ways that provokes conversations about alternative possible futures.
The installation consists of work made by the artist and work made during a workshop ran by Guidon and Pyramid members.
