Join us for a private view (with readings) of Words Worth Watching: The Writers’ Room, a new exhibition in our Project Space.
Words Worth Watching: The Writers’ Room brings together the Wild Pansy Press, its creative team from The Writers’ Room, and some of the London and Northern-based artists who have recently undertaken residencies in its current Cloudesley Square studio in London.
In this exhibition, we embrace and share printed matter as a tangible mode of sharing ideas and work.
We strongly believe that the written and spoken word, and publication as a medium, are inherently democratic and enfranchising, offering a (literal) voice to all participants.
Here we highlight both publications and archival matter from the Wild Pansy Press, and the practices of previous Writers’ Room residents – Elaine Fisher, George Storm Fletcher, Lily Petch, Emily Fielding and Joanna Jowett.
Curated by Chris Taylor, Simon Lewandowski and Lu Rose Cunningham.
Words Worth Watching: The Writers' Room runs from 28 April to 2 May. Find out more about the exhibition and events programme.
