The Skin We Wear is a duo exhibition exploring the physicality of bodies around us.

The body of work on display explores a variety of themes from an exploration into the qualities of skin confronting the changes in our bodies through the process of adolescence that tightens and manipulates the skin we wear.

Other work in this show reimagines representations of the female body challenging controls of the ‘Gaze’ and how female figures are seen through the grotesque.

The exhibition aims to confront notions around our bodies rebelling against imposed constraints around female sexuality, structures of power and standards of beauty through a vast series of contemporary paint work.
