Passing Through Margins — exhibition

Passing Through Margins is an exhibition of work by eight Level 2 Fine Art students from the University of Leeds.

Through perforated edges, deep cavities and the densely archival, the eight artists explore their intimate relationships with the between space.

The multimedia response includes marks scratched into surfaces, ruptured hessian forms, and the perceptual field skewed by video and alternate reality.

Sculpture in conversation with photography and drawing create an environment of intangibility, displacement and fluctuation.

Key in the development of the work has been our passing through margins, exploring where our boundaries are crossed.

Passing Through Margins is one of a number of exhibitions taking place on campus and across Leeds this month, as part of our Fine Art Level 2 Festival of Art.
