Imploding Concrete Whiplash

A celebration of 20th Century New York in all its glory, Imploding Concrete Whiplash returns for its second iteration at Distrikt Bar in Leeds.

Join us for an evening of drinks, good music and great art.

With new and unseen work from all the artists involved, film screenings, and sets from some incredibly talented local DJs, it’s got the makings of a great night.

Imploding Concrete Whiplash is an artist collective born out of a fascination with the spirit and verve of 20th century New York, and the myriad of writers, musicians, and artists that the city gave birth to. Having worked together in the past, and being united by common interests, the artists  set out with the intent of commemorating an era of New York and of the art world at large that seems diametrically opposed to the current status quo.
