70th anniversary of the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies

As part of the 70th anniversary of the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, #WeAreFAHACS lets us celebrate our current students and fellows and allows us to imagine the future.

What are you working on as a student here at Leeds?

What are you researching?

What questions do you have about the art and culture world as we know it?

Thinking ahead, what will the University of Leeds look like in the future? What will it feel like to be a student?

What shape will the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies take in the next year? In the next decade? In the next century?

These are the questions. As current students of the University of Leeds, you have the answers.

Beginning on Monday 2 December and culminating on Friday 6 December, come to the Student Common Room and join in a participatory project where you can share your answers in person and online using our hashtag #WeAreFAHACS.

On Friday 6 December, light refreshments will be served and a projection of the week’s submissions will be displayed.

#WeAreFAHACS is a project developed by MA Arts Management and Heritage Studies and Art Gallery and Museum Studies students as part of an Interpretations module, and coincides with the School’s 70th anniversary festivities.
