The University of Leeds Annual Practice-led PhD Symposium

A joint initiative between the Schools of Design and Fine Art, History of Art & Cultural Studies where practice-led PhD students from both schools will be presenting their latest projects

We are delighted that Catrin Huber, Professor of Fine Art from the University of Newcastle is acting as keynote and respondent. Her keynote paper will consider her AHRC-funded practice-led and interdisciplinary research project: Expanded Interiors.

As a grand finale at 3.30, you are invited to School of Design PhD candidate Marielle Hehir’s exhibition On Shaky Ground: Land, Paint and Change in our new gallery: Space at Design, Clothworker’s Central. she will give a short talk in followed by a public opening.
