PRiA Workshop: Exploring OneHE – Professional Development for Teaching, Learning and Scholarship

The session will be led by Helen Morley (OD&PL).

Location: Esther Simpson Building, Room 1.08

You can register for this event via this link

You are invited to join a dedicated session on 18 March, 14:00–16:00, to explore OneHE – an online learning platform offering self‑paced educational professional development for those working in HE. A link to OneHE can be found here; in the session you will be given a licence to explore the platform in greater detail.

In order to get the most out of the session, please bring a laptop with you (tablets and mobile phones will not provide the same experience.) During the session, you’ll have time to look through OneHE’s asynchronous materials and consider how they might support your own development, as well as approaches to educational and scholarship practice within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures.

The session will also provide space for relaxed conversation with colleagues from across academic, professional and technical roles. You’ll be encouraged to share your thoughts, ask questions and discuss how OneHE could be useful within your day‑to‑day work and wider faculty conversations about teaching and learning.

By the end of this session, you'll have a better idea of what OneHE can offer your practice, have ideas on how it might inform future activity, see how others might use it and why, and contributed to finalising the next stage of the OneHE Pilot project.

We hope you’ll join us for an open and welcoming discussion.
