Undergraduate Degree Show 2018

From Friday 15 to Friday 22 June, the School of Design will be opening its doors to showcase the work of the 2018 graduating students.

From Friday 15 to Friday 22 June, the School of Design will be opening its doors to showcase the work of the 2018 graduating students. Members of the University as well as the general public are welcome to come to the degree show to explore the vast range of excellent work completed by our students who will be graduating this summer. The work will be on display in the Clothworkers Central Building and visitors are welcome between 9am and 5pm each day.

Over 200 students from five undergraduate degrees will be displaying their work, encompassing everything from contemporary graphic design to intricate knitted textiles.

A team of graphic design students and staff, along with input from each programme manager, have created a fresh creative concept for this year’s degree show, reflecting the School’s latest achievement – the newly-refurbished Clothworkers’ South building which opens on 8 May.

The concept highlights the multi-disciplinarity of the School, the diversity of the students and their work, and is a reminder of what a degree show is all about: great work shown in a great setting.

The School is hosting a private view for local industry on Thursday 14 June, which includes a catwalk show from fashion design students and the opportunity for employers to browse graduate work.

Students’ work will be available to view online after the degree show via a PDF catalogue produced specially for the event, along with their contact details.
