What Will You Learn?

  • Learn how to produce an advanced fashion portfolio and access the facilities to create this.
  • Demonstrate a practical understanding of developing fashion concepts and articulate and apply trend forecasting skills.
  • Define and apply advanced technical terminologies specific to fashion design.
  • Master a range of hand-drawn and digital illustration techniques.
  • Utilise CAD software to aid in designing and developing a finished portfolio.
  • Work with industrial knitwear, digital print, and laser-cutting machinery.
  • Understand the role of fabric, colour and texture in fashion design.
  • Understand garment construction methods, including cut and sew, fully fashioned, and woven garments.
