Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation PhD Scholarships
Are you a Canadian student wanting to apply for a PhD at the University of Leeds?
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation has created 12 Scholarships that offer a three-year leadership course, which is designed to train Engaged Leaders and equip doctoral candidates with the skills to translate their ideas into action to help better their communities, their country and the world.
Those who are successfully selected will be offered generous funding for their studies. Applicants must also be already accepted or in year one or two of a full-time doctoral course and expected to complete their doctoral studies in 2025 or later.
The field of study is broadly related to Humanities or Human Sciences. The doctoral work must relate to at least one of the Foundation’s Four Themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, or People and their Natural Environment.
Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign Institution, or a non-Canadian (permanent resident of Canada or foreign national) enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian Institution.
