John Corner, visiting professor, has published a short article on the patterns of statistical information about the pandemic, patterns involving differences of scientific analysis and political perspective.

Drawing on recent international studies and citing the work of two Leeds postgraduate researchers, he presents an overview of statistical flows and counter-flows, looking at some of the consequences and implications for future coverage of crises.
