This week's Media Futures offers career advice in working in TV with Tracy Walker from ITV.
Tracy Walker will be demystifying careers in TV Production, with suggestions on how to engage with companies, roles within ITV Studios along with where and how to apply. Last year, talented teams at the 60 production labels within the ITV Studios family distributed more than 90,000 hours of programming in 13 different countries. Our unscripted labels include Lifted Entertainment, MultiStory Media, and Potato. Our scripted labels include Continuing drama ('Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale'), and High-end drama such as Mammoth Screen, Silverprint Pictures and World Productions.
Tracy Walker is ITV Studios' Talent & Resourcing Executive responsible for sourcing off-screen talent for scripted and non-scripted productions across the North of England. Tracy has worked on a variety of programmes across a range of genres and budgets. Our aim in the Talent Team is to engage with the best talent and we are constantly reaching out to ensure our teams are inclusive, reflecting the audience who watch our brilliant shows. Prior to this, Tracy was Director of her own company where she was a consultant talent executive and industry coach/mentor to ITV and other independent production companies in the North of England. Joining Tracy on the panel are Lucie Hornshaw (Talent Manager, MultiStory Media) and Becky Yeomans (Talent & Resourcing Coordinator, ITV Studios).
