Join us for a 1-hour webinar to discover how Project CREATE is amplifying youth voices in mental health research – 10 June, 12pm-1pm
In this interdisciplinary webinar, we are sharing our insights into working with young people, balancing meeting their needs and motivations alongside that of the project. We will be showcasing their social action campaign 'Not So Alone', which is an online community for young people to share art, thoughts and support around the experience of adolescent loneliness and mental health.
Project CREATE launched in 2023 to support arts-based mental health research focused on youth loneliness, with funding from UKRI. And to ensure the project was shaped by the voices of young people, the Young Persons’ Advisory Group (YPAG) was formed.
Meet our speakers:
- Prof Paul Cooke, Project CREATE Principal Investigator (University of Leeds)
- Dr Cristina Harney, Project CREATE Postdoc Research Fellow (University of Leeds)
- Danelle Lee, Project CREATE Project Manager (University of Leeds)
- Two members of our Young People's Advisory Group (YPAG)
