Profile
I have a background in graphic design, motion graphics, film production and as an independent film maker have gained awards for editing. I have international teaching experience and have freelanced on numerous productions and design projects in the UK and abroad.For the last 20 years at the University I have taught film based practical modules and motion graphics. I also have interests in the history of film, particularly the Leeds based luminary Louis Le Prince. I am founding member of the Oakwood Community Cinema (started 2015) and also run the Oakwood Film Academy (started 2021).

Research interests
I am currently working on a research project that will offer Subtitles and Audio Description to all cinema audiences as a choice.

Student education
I teach modules on the BA (Hons) Film, Photography and Media course.
These include: COMM2890 Short Film Production, COMM2870 Motion Graphics and COMM3880 Cinema Project.
I’m also a supervisor for COMM3705 Digital Media Individual Project.
My office hours are Tuesdays 10-12pm + Open door policy.
