Curating and Exhibiting Visual Culture in Times of Coronavirus: Online Workshop

In the fourth event in the Series we explore examples of online practice of film and art curation during the pandemic in both the UK and Brazil

The event will also be an opportunity for us to reflect on new and old challenges as we move forward.

There will be a keynote delivered by Dr Alessandra Mello Simões Paiva (Federal University of Southern Bahia), pre-recorded video interventions by four practitioners which will be uploaded to our YouTube channel in advance, and the chance to discuss the videos with the practitioners.

The practitioners include Andy Abbott (artist), Sebastián Gerlic (Thydewá), Professor Sarah Perks (MIMA School of Art & Design), Barbara Alves Rangel (Instituto Moreira Salles)

This event is part of the Curating and Exhibiting Visual Art in Times of Coronavirus, Sadler Seminar Series. It is convened by Stephanie Dennison (Languages, Cultures and Societies), Thea Pitman (Languages, Cultures and Societies), Simon Popple (Media and Communication) and Gill Park (Fine Art).
