The Cecil Roth papers at Southampton

Southampton University archivist Karen Robson will give an inside insight into the archive papers of Cecil Roth, the doyen of the Anglo-Jewish historical establishment until his death in 1970. The Southampton archive complements the archival holdings kept in the Roth Collection at the University of Leeds. Together, they offer a unique insight into the accademic and community networks among 20th-century UK Jewish historians, both inside and outside HEI.

There will also be a display and handling session of Roth's choicest Hebraica.
