ItaLeeds is a group of PhDs and early career researchers with a broad interest in Italian culture, whose aim is to actively promote, share, and disseminate knowledge on everything Italian through a number of initiatives.
The group has a distinctively interdisciplinary approach, with its members working in as diverse a range of fields as Italian history, literature, linguistics, politics, cinema and figurative arts. Currently our members come from the School of History as well as the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies, but we are looking forward to welcoming researchers from other Schools who have an interest in any aspect of Italy and its culture.
