Find Your Future careers event

On 6 March, the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies held an event for current students to discover more about the opportunities available to support their career development.

Alongside information about internships, work experience, and research opportunities, they had the chance to hear from other students who have recently returned from Year in Industry placements, and ask any questions about careers and employability.

As well as opportunities outside of studies, there are optional modules focused on career development, and students heard about how they can tailor their course to explore different career paths.

Presenters included:

  • Becky Kidner, Senior Employability & Placements Officer, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures

  • Jo McGonigal, Year in Industry Placement Lead

  • Anna Douglas, Employability Lead

  • Students returning from placements
