Research interests
My research interests are in corpus linguistics, the language of mathematics and integrating language and content teaching.
Currently, I am involved in a collaborative project based on a corpus of mathematics lectures. The project aims to explore the language of mathematics and the challenges that it may pose to students whose first language is not English, and how a language focus can be integrated into the teaching of content to improve comprehension.
