I have been teaching English for Academic Purposes for over 15 years at a range of tertiary education institutions in South Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan and the UK. I joined the University of Leeds in 2021. In 2015, I completed a Master of Arts in Teaching English for Academic Purposes from the University of Nottingham.

My research interests include analysis of genre within engineering and how awareness of these genres can improve academic literacies.

Student education

I am an Engish for Academic Purposes (EAP) Lecturer on the Southwest Jiaotong University – Leeds Joint School. I teach EAP to undergraduate students with a focus on Engineering.
