Profile

I am a Visiting Ph.D. student in the University of Leeds from 1st of October 2019 to 30th of September 2020. I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Ankara. In my PhD thesis, I try to find out how to look at Laws of Nature from structural realist perspective. My Ph.D. title is A Philosophical Approach to Laws of Nature in the Context of Scientific Realism. My supervisor in Leeds is Professor Steven French.

Prior to my current Ph.D. work, I was a master’s student in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Bristol. My MPhil thesis “Ceteris Paribus Laws in Laws of Nature” was supervised by Professor Alexander J. Bird.
