What made you want to apply to your MA course and to Leeds?

University of Leeds was always my first choice and consideration. It has a great reputation, the education quality and environment is of a high-standard, and it is world-wide famous. The MA course was perfect for me because I could continue to develop my performance skills while simultaneously developing my management skills. I was also interested in the course as it offered the chance to organise an event by myself which was really useful for my future. 

What is it that makes you passionate about your area of study?

I was very interested in art administration when I was in the University in Taiwan. During this time I was attending annual international master classes in European countries. I met many great musicians, unfortunately, they were not being given the opportunities to perform and seen, and this is why I wanted to provide performance opportunities for young talented musicians.
