Portrait of Eve Daniels

Eve Daniels

What made you want to study your course at the University?

I came to Leeds because it is known to be a vibrant and busy city. Studying music, I knew there would be lots of concerts and art events that I could attend and the University has a good reputation for its level of teaching.

Describe the aspects of the course that you have enjoyed the most.

I have particularly enjoyed my performance modules as I get to perform with other students and learn new skills and styles from them. I also enjoyed being involved with the Wakeboarding Society as they organised fun events around the country and it gave me a chance to meet people outside of my course.

Tell us about your year in industry.

I worked in London for Warner Music Group. I believe my year in industry taught me invaluable workplace skills and prepared me for my final year in terms of work ethic and motivation.

What are you planning to do once you graduate?

After graduation, I plan on looking for a job within the music industry. I will also continue to perform music to remain creative in the arts and stay in contact with friends I have made on my course.
