I am interested in the nature and possibilities of civil society mobilisation in the post-socialist context and the place of digital and social media in developing alternative political projects and in changing or influencing dominant discourses.
I currently teach or am a TA on a number of courses at the School of Media and Communication. I am also a Research Assistant on the Communicating the Pandemic research project, led by Professor Stephen Coleman at the School. I am a member of the Political Communication and Journalism Research Group and the Centre for Democratic Engagement at University of Leeds.
