A workshop with Kleber Mendonça Filho including screening with commentary.

Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies (SPLAS), the LHRI Sadler Seminar Series, and The Centre for Global Development (CGD) are delighted to welcome renowned Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho to the University of Leeds.

The workshop will be of particular interest to researchers and students of Development Studies, Film Studies and Brazilian Studies and will include a screening and commentary of Kleber's short film Recife Frio (Cold Tropics, 2009).

All welcome and the event is free, but places must be reserved through Eventbrite

The Centre for World Cinemas and Digital Cultures will also host a screening of the award-winning Aquarius and Q&A with Kleber on 02 December 2017 at 14:30 at the Hyde Park Picture House.
