Arabic workshop in Leeds for teachers and teachers-to-be

Arabic language-and-culture learning through the arts: from principles to practice.

Professional Development for Teachers of Arabic

AIMES is very pleased to be hosting this exciting workshop for Arabic teachers and teachers-to-be. The workshop is based on the innovative toolkit ‘Language in Art and the Work of Ali Omar Ermes’ developed at Goldsmiths, University of London.

This is a one-day hands-on workshop delivered by colleagues at Goldsmith and will include presentations, activities, and feedback. Attendees will also be given a copy of the toolkit which contains many stimulating activities to enable students to engage with the art work and to develop language skills at the same time.
