Dr David Rojinsky

Profile

I began teaching at Leeds on the English for Law Pre-sessional in the summer of 2019. I had previously taught on a number of other summer pre-sessionals  for postgraduate students (primarily) from the PRC who were specialising in a range of  fields at different universities in the UK (including Bristol, Sheffield, Imperial College London and Royal Holloway College). I gained my early experience as a language instructor while teaching EFL in Portugal, Italy, the UK and Mexico in the 1980s. Since the 1990s,  I  have  combined the teaching of the  English language  with research and teaching in Spanish and Latin American Cultural Studies in both North American and UK universities (including UCL, King’s College London and Lancaster). I am an examiner for the International  Baccalaureate (Spanish) and a published Spanish to English translator.
