Profile

I began my postgraduate research at the University of Leeds in the Autumn of 2021 after completing my postgraduate Masters degree in History at the University of Edinburgh. I am originally from the Los Angeles area of Califonia, USA.

I attended community college for my associate degrees in Psychology and Social and Behavioral Sciences before transferring to the University of California, Los Angeles where I completed a degree in History with a minor in European Studies.

Along this academic journey, I studied abroad twice. The first was to London where I found my love for History and the second venture was to Berlin, Germany, where I underwent an intensive language learning program in German. I now live in London.

Research interests

My research centers around how childhood literature and activities affected the mindsets of young men during the first World War. My undergraduate thesis was in a similar research area.
