Our research
We have a long, proud tradition of research into the history of philosophy, and our academic staff continue to explore the ways this can inform our work in applied ethics.
Previous work has included research on Immanuel Kant, American Pragmatism, and Ancient Philosophy, and we also collaborate with the School of Philosophy, Religion and the History of Science to support PhD students working in our areas of expertise.
