English joint honours degrees

The breadth of academic expertise at Leeds allows you to combine your study of English with a wide range of subjects.

Our joint honours degrees (also known as combined honours or dual honours) provides you with the flexibility to specialise in two disciplines in depth, ensuring you develop the precise skills and key knowledge you need to support your career.

Studying for a joint honours course doesn't mean more work. You'll study the same number of credits as a single honours student, but just take fewer modules in each of your subjects.

"Doing a joint honours means that I didn’t have to sacrifice any of the skills I wanted to develop. It offers me far more choice with regard to my modules."
