Art and Design students showcase work in progress

On Wednesday 12th December students on our BA Art and Design course showcased their work at the annual Open Studio event which gives students across all levels an opportunity to show work in progress

As in previous years our 'Open Studio' marked the end of the autumn term allowing students to celebrate and share their achievements in studio practice with the public. Dr Andrea Thoma, programme manager for BA Art and Design said "It is a well established event involving all year groups of the Art and Design course, which and  attracted a good amount of visitors from students, friends and family to artists/designers and alumni."

The event contributes to showcasing activities of the Art and Design community within the School and further afield whilst enabling students to take stock of their achievements and plan ahead for future developments. A wide variety of work was showcased at the event from painting and drawing to sculpture and digital media.
