Visiting Artist’s Talk – Hardeep Pandhal

Hardeep Pandhal was born in Birmingham but lives and works in Glasgow.
Recent solo exhibitions include Self-Loathing Flashmob at Kelvin Hall for Glasgow International 2018, Liar Hydrant at Cubitt (London, 2018), Konfessions of a Klabautermann at Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival 2018, and A Nightmare on BAME Street at Eastside Projects (Birmingham, 2017).
Selected group exhibitions include: Knock Knock: Humour in Contemporary Art at South London Gallery (London, 2018), 35 Days of Film at Mitchell-Innes & Nash (New York, 2018), The House of Fame at Nottingham Contemporary (Nottingham, 2018), and 2018 Triennial: Songs for Sabotage at the New Museum (New York, 2018).
In 2018 he was shortlisted for Film London Jarman Award and the Arts Council Collection acquired three of his works.
The Visiting Artist’s Talk (VAT) series hosts talks by an exciting range of arts practitioners from around the world every Monday afternoon from 14:00 to 15:30 during teaching weeks.
All of our talks are compulsory for our Fine Art students but open to anyone else who would like to join us.
